New Google Chrome Update Saves Memory and Battery Life
How to Use These Methods
You must upgrade your Chrome browser to the most recent version in order to use these features. You may do it in the browser’s options.
. Launch the Chrome web browser
. Select the three dots in the browser’s upper right corner.
. Expand the Help option by navigating to it.
. Choose the Google Chrome About option.
. The browser will automatically check for the most recent version. Tap Relaunch once the most recent firmware has been installed.
. Go back to the same settings page after restarting the browser. The option for these two features is now available.
Mode for saving energy
When the battery level hits 20% on the Chrome browser for laptops, the Energy Saver feature is automatically turned on. It will prolong your internet browsing time and improve battery life. It restricts all of the background processes.
Find the Green-shaped symbol in the top-right corner of the browser to manually activate the Energy Saver. The function will become active when you tap on it.
Mode for Saving Memory
Chrome’s Memory Saver option is another function. Chrome often uses a lot of RAM when opening many tabs.
You will be able to work on the current tab without encountering any issues since the memory of the tabs you are not currently using will be wiped. The inactive tabs may always be reloaded.
For improved speed, Chrome will reportedly use up to 40% of RAM, or around 10 GB. The user will be able to access the browser with less RAM thanks to the memory-saving function.
